I'll never be lonely again
As I watch from the window
His fingertips trace your delicate features
His lips on your skin; his breath a husked whisper
Of fake promises and delicious lies.
Only to have you; was I not good enough?
As he moves inside you, I feel blood in my mouth
I look away, but your name in his deep voice strangles my mind.
The cold chilly air is around me; why can't I breathe?
My hands are warm and soft; why can't I feel?
I take the gun and press it against my weary head, with a smile, wicked, deranged.
The caricature I've become since you left me for him...
I pull the trigger with one final thought:
"I'll never be lonely again".
